Nicholas Evans, PA-C
Nicholas Evans is originally from Virginia, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. After realizing his passion for medicine, he worked as an EMT at a busy Emergency Department before coming down to Florida for graduate school, where he graduated from Nova Southeastern University - Fort Lauderdale in 2021 with his Master of Medical Science. He then went on to work in Perry, FL, where he gained experience managing a vast array of different medical conditions in an underserved area where access to specialists was rather limited. Nick gained an excellent reputation in the area for his exceptional bedside manner and compassionate patient care. Nick hopes to continue his medical journey in Ponte Vedra and Saint Johns, bringing the same level of patient satisfaction to a new community.
Keri Monteleone, PA-C
Ms. Keri Monteleone, PA-C is originally from Savannah, Georgia. She attended and graduated from Georgia Southern University with her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology. Ms. Monteleone always knew she wanted to go into the medical field, so she began working in several different urgent cares and in a busy Emergency Department before she attended PA school at South University – Savannah, GA. She graduated from the program with honors in 2023 with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant. She has recently moved to the Jacksonville area to continue her medical journey with Urgent Care Cure. As a new Florida resident, Ms. Monteleone enjoys spending her time exploring the Jacksonville area with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Baker and Turner. She also enjoys going to the beach, traveling, or just hanging out with friends and family in her spare time.
Elizabeth Bettis, PA-C
Mrs. Elizabeth Bettis, PA-C was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She went to High School at Ponte Vedra High School where she was a student in the Biotechnology Academy. Mrs. Bettis attended the University of Central Florida where she obtained her Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then attended Nova Southeastern University and graduated in 2017 with her Master’s degree in Medical Science. Mrs. Bettis has four years of experience in Neurosurgery and two years of experience in Pain Management. Through these experiences, she has gained knowledge in surgical techniques as well as both inpatient and outpatient medical management. Elizabeth married her high school sweetheart, and they have two dogs. When she is not facilitating patient care, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and taking long walks with her goldendoodle, Cody, and her mini sheepadoodle Bella.
Ian Neuhaus, PA-C
Mr. Ian Neuhaus is originally from Charleston, South Carolina, and completed a Bachelor's degree at Charleston Southern University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. After becoming a Physician Assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina, he helped run a rural Emergency Department in Colleton, South Carolina, for the first two years post-graduation. Wanting to spend more time with patients, Ian then worked for the next 5 years at Roper St. Francis, a non-profit network of primary and urgent cares in the Summerville and Charleston areas of South Carolina.
Ian has since moved to the St. John's area of Florida to continue his medical journey while caring for patients. His desire to provide meaningful care for patients, coupled with a personal passion for patient education, has been at the heart of Ian's commitment to medicine. Personal hobbies include spending time with family, music, and music production.
Luke Bote', PA-C
Luke Bote’, PA-C was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He went to High School at Bishop Kenny High School then attended the University of South Florida where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Before attending PA school, Mr. Bote’ worked as a Medical Assistant in St. John’s, FL at a Family Medicine and Sports Medicine clinic. He then attended Nova Southeastern University - Jacksonville and graduated in 2023 earning a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant. Luke graduated with highest honors and was awarded the Dean’s Award for his academic performances during his tenure at Nova Southeastern University. When he is not facilitating patient care, Luke enjoys spending time with his dog,
Jonah, working out, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends.
Laci Paxton, APRN
Ms. Lacie Paxton, APRN is a Family Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in St.Augustine, Florida. Ms. Paxton worked as a registered nurse for 8 years in the hospital setting prior to pursuing her Master’s Degree. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2020 with her Nurse Practitioner degree and has experience working with all ages in both primary care and urgent care. She loves connecting with her patients and helping them meet their health care goals. Lacie enjoys reading the Bible, spending time with her 4 young kids and husband, exercising, and any outdoor activity.
Hillary Luke-Tindley, APRN, DFNP-C
Mrs. Hillary Luke-Tindley, APRN, DNP-C was raised in St. John’s, Florida. Mrs. Luke-Tindley attended Florida State University and earned a Bachelor of Science. She then went to the University of North Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has an extensive background in cardiac nursing at Sarasota Memorial Hospital where she served as a Nursing Preceptor and Unit Chair. She also worked for Transplant Surgical Services at Mayo Clinic Florida providing perioperative care for lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant patients. She earned her doctorate in nursing from the University of Florida, specializing in family nursing practice. She is an active member of the Florida Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society in Nursing. Her husband is a physician and together they have 3 young children and 2 mini golden doodles. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family at the beautiful beaches in St. Augustine or visit Walt Disney World.
Becca Knehr, PV Office Manager
Rebecca Knehr completed a course at Everest University in Orange Park, FL from 2013 to 2014, where she earned a Certificate in Medical Assisting and graduated the program with honors. After graduation she began her career at an Urgent Care clinic in Orange Park. In 2017, she worked for Beaches Recovery as Medical Manager in Jacksonville Beach and helped clients who suffered with drug and alcohol addiction.
Rebecca enjoys helping anyone who reaches out for help, no matter what the situation is. She loves to make everyone smile. Rebecca has a son and a daughter and enjoys her time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading a good book and she loves roller coasters.

Alen Avetisov, MA / Receptionist
Mr. Alen Avetisov was born in Uzbekistan and moved to California when he was five, where he lived for most of his life until moving to Florida in 2015. He is currently attending University of North Florida College with a major in Biomedical Science. Mr. Avetisov really liked his experience in studying Psychology, Microbiology, and Virology. He has continuous interest in Psychiatry and Neurology, which he would like to explore further. After graduating from University of North Florida Mr. Avetisov is planning on applying to a variety of MD and DO schools with the goal of becoming a physician. His hobbies include film creation, 2D/3D animations, drawing, music, art mediums, movies, and editing of short films.
Lev Volosskiy, Data Capture Specialist / Internal Billing
Mr. Lev Volosskiy was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology. He has been working in healthcare for over 30 years, providing therapy and support to patients with various mental health illnesses. His leisure time he spends playing volleyball and riding a bicycle.
Emra Omerovic, Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Ms. Emra Omerovic was born in Bosnia and moved to Jacksonville, Florida when she was two years old. Ms. Omerovic's most recent trips were visiting back home in Bosnia and exploring Cancun, Mexico. She is currently attending the University of North Florida as a premed student with a major in Biomedical Sciences. After graduating, she plans to attend Medical School or apply to a Physicians Assistant program and specialize in Pediatrics. In her free time, she enjoy walks on the beach, exploring new coffee shops, cooking and traveling.
Nicole LeBlanc, Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Ms. Nicole LeBlanc was born in Orlando, FL and has come over to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida as a Premed student with a Major in Biomedical Sciences major and a Minor in Chemistry. Ms. LeBlanc's goal after undergraduate is to pursue MD-PhD path with further specialization in Neurology. Ms. LeBlanc is a lifelong volunteer with the American Cancer Society, helping to fight against breast cancer. Ms. LeBlanc's team, the Bunco Buddies, have raised over half a million dollars for MSABC and it has been a great pleasure for Ms. LeBlanc to have aided in this fundraising. In Nicole's downtime she loves to read, paint, and play the guitar.
Hera Culiqi, MA / Receptionist
Ms. Hera Culiqi is attending the University of North Florida with plans to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She plans on attending Medical School or Pharmacy School after graduation. Hera was lucky enough to be born in Jacksonville, FL due to her parents and older sister immigrating to the United States from Albania. When Hera isn’t studying or hanging out with her sister she enjoys baking, pottery and watching movies with her cat.
Amaya Yip, Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Ms. Amaya Yip is a senior at the University of North Florida majoring in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences, and will be graduating in December 2022. Ms. Yip will be taking a gap year before attending Medical School in Fall 2024. Currently, Ms. Yip is interested in General Surgery, Pediatrics, and OBGYN. She enjoys learning all things related to cell biology and physiology. At UNF, she works in a research lab, and currently doing a study on how protein quality affects lifespan and reproduction using grasshoppers. In addition, at UNF Ms. Yip is involved in two nonprofit organizations, the Treasure/Fundraising, where she is a Chair of MEDLIFE, and the Vice President of Footprints. Ms. Yip loves volunteering at local clinics around Jacksonville and doing social work. Hobbies include reading Bible, watching the sunrise/sunset, and going to the gym. Ms. Yip's goal is to someday open her own private practice and create her own nonprofit organization.
Igor Krivoshey, STJ Office Manager / Internal Billing Specialist
Mr. Igor Krivoshey dedicated 20+ years of his professional career to work for US Government. Employed by the US diplomatic missions in the Netherlands, Germany and Russia, his home country, Mr. Krivoshey assisted US expatriots there with their medical needs. Additionally, he used to arrange for medical evacuations from overseas before he moved first to California and then to Florida. Mr. Krivoshey carries over his experience with various medical assistance companies to his current work as of Office Manager / Internal Billing Specialist. Mr. Krivoshey likes spending his leisure time with his family who joins him in his passion for different sports.
Kaitlin Patchett, Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Mrs. Kaitlin Patchett, NCMA with a background in Elementary Education, impressive and lengthy experience at First Coast Cardiology group, ENT, and research has been an invaluable part of the Urgent Care Cure team where she enjoys taking care of her patients like family. Mrs. Patchett and her husband have 3 giant dogs and a beautiful teenager. Mrs. Patchett enjoys volunteering in the community as often as possible and she is very active with her daughter's BSA Scout Troop.
Will Skinner, Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Mr. Will Skinner is a Florida native who graduated from University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a BS in biology with a focus on evolutionary biology. He now plans on applying to PA school. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, drawing, painting, cooking and hiking.
Abigail Lewis, MA, Receptionist
Ms. Abigail Lewis was born in South Florida, and moved to Jacksonville in 2020 to attend the University of North Florida. Ms. Lewis graduated from the university in 2022 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology. After taking a break from studies, Ms. Lewis plans on applying to Physician Assistant schools with the goal of working in Psychiatry field. In her free time, Ms. Lewis enjoys reading, swimming, cooking, and traveling.
Dalton Dillard, MA / Receptionist
Mr. Dalton Dillard was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Stanton College Preparatory for high school and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University. Mr. Dillard hopes to become a physician and plans on applying to medical school. In his free time he enjoys running, reading, traveling with his family, and attending sporting events.
Merna Alchi, MA, Receptionist
Ms. Merna Alchi, moved from Iraq at the age of 8 years old with her parents in 2009, and has been in Jacksonville, Florida ever since. Ms. Alchi anticipates graduating from Jacksonville University in 2024 with her bachelor’s degree in health science. In addition to her academic pursuits, Merna has distinguished herself through her experience as a dental assistant, having worked in both general and pediatric dentistry. In her leisure time, she enjoys practicing Pilates and playing pickleball or tennis. Looking ahead, Ms. Alchi plans to apply to Physician Assistant / Dental School to pursue further education.
Brianna Boreham, MA, Receptionist
Ms. Brianna Boreham grew up in London, England before relocating to Norman, Oklahoma with her parents and brother when she was 8 years old. Ms. Boreham attends University of North Florida, where she is in her final year with Biomedical Sciences degree. After this year Ms. Boreham plans to apply to Physician Assistant School. Ms Boreham is interested in Pediatrics / Allergy Specialties / Pulmonology, but is definitely open to new experiences wherever education takes her. Brianna is also on the University of North Florida’s swim team. In her free time she really enjoys reading and spending time with her family, dog, and hedgehog.
Tia Elaakati, MA, Receptionist
Ebtisam (Tia) Elkaakati was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida with second home being in Beirut, Lebanon. As a Neuroscience major, Ms. Elkaakati's aspirations lie in the field of Anesthesiology, with a fascination for the brain and pain perception. Ms. Elkaakati is passionate about healthcare as well as diverse cultures. Ms. Elkaakati is fluent in Arabic and is studying French and Turkish. Helping to bridge the language barrier for recent immigrants, Ms. Elkaakati volunteers as an ESL tutor during her summer breaks. At UNF, Tia is leading the establishment of an organization aimed to educate students on impacts, dangers, and signs of drug abuse. In Ms. Elkaakati's leisure moments, she cherishes quality time with her family, her leopard gecko, and nature!
Kailah Lalanne, Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Ms. Kailah Lalanne is originally from Deltona, Florida, but moved to Jacksonville for school. Ms. Lalanne has been a UNF osprey for 2, going on 3 years. Ms. Lalanne is a Biomedical Science major and plans to go to PA school, and possibly specialize in Dermatology. In her free time Ms. Lalanne enjoys hanging out with her friends, watching hulu, and cute cats.
